Jeffry P. Menzner, M.D.
Jeffry P. Menzner, M.D. is a native of Wisconsin and came to Boise after serving on active duty as an Air Force orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Menzner is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Drake University and honors graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah and a Harvard fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Menzner is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society. He joined the Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1999. Dr. Menzner has a keen interest in improving the entire experience of joint replacement patients from preoperative patient preparation to postoperative recovery and rehabilitation.
The development of a hospital based joint replacement center has greatly improved the safety, comfort, and recovery of his hip and knee replacement patients. In addition to his surgical practice commitments, he has volunteered his time at adjacent hospitals serving on patient safety, orthopedic supervisory, physician advisory group, and credentialing committees. He is married to Dr. Dawn King, a Boise urologist. They have two children, a young boy and girl. His outside interests include biking and snow skiing. |
