Boise Orthopedic Clinic started in 1958 when three local orthopaedists joined together to form Boise's first group orthopaedic practice. The original office, now a childcare center, was on north 8th street.

When St. Alphonsus Hospital relocated to its present site along the I-84 connector, Boise Orthopaedic Clinic, or BOC, moved to the Boise Medical Arts building on the new campus.
